Update July 2011

Jul 18, 2011

If you haven't visited the site recently, you will see new research documenting the individual, social, economic, and environmental benefits of recreation, as well as a slightly different look and feel. Although it currently houses links to over 750 research studies, it remains an ongoing work-in-progress.

We've also added a new tutorial to help you search more effectively. See http://crm.arpaonline.ca/extern/url.php?u=14396&qid=25090

You may also be interested in a related, upcoming webinar on July 28th on measuring the outcomes or benefits. This free online learning opportunity is being delivered by Brenda Herchmer a long time supporter of the Benefits Movement (you may remember her as the editor of the 1997 Benefits Catalogue). To reserve your spot go to http://crm.arpaonline.ca/extern/url.php?u=14397&qid=25090

.

As we've always stressed, this is an invaluable resource that will only get better with your additions so please continue to share your research and promising practices at http://crm.arpaonline.ca/extern/url.php?u=14398&qid=25090

.

Thanks for your support!
